My name is Gunnar.
Telos is an Ancient Greek word that means "end," "purpose," or "goal." In philosophy—especially in the work of Aristotle—telos refers to the ultimate aim or purpose of a thing.
For example:
The telos of an acorn is to become an oak tree.
The telos of a knife is to cut.
my telos is to create.

my path as an artist began in my sophomore year of highschool. I remember the first piece where it really *clicked* so to speak. It was a portrait, colored pencils on paper, and i did it in one night's sitting that lasted until morning. i was shocked to look at the time, as when i was in the midst of the workflow, time ceased to exist.
this is when i knew i had found a home that i desperately needed.

when i am creating, i enter a timeless flow state that is unique to any other experience i have as a human. i become completely immersed in the world of what i am cultivating.
